(maybe silly question) about trial and ios

hi, i'm an old (41) hypercard user, after so many years i will give lc a try to see if it's what hc never been, esp. for the ios platform
now i've just d/l the trial version, i'm trying to build as standalone app one of the sample stacks provided with lc
i've also installed the latest sdk from apple but the lc trial has, in the build standalone settings window the "green ribbon of death" (lol) saying "buy!", and ijust got a dialog box that says "there was an erro while saving the standalone application - performing ios device builds requires the ios 5.0 sdk platforn to be installed"
i'm wondering if the error is about lc that's not seeing the sdk or i've to "buy deployment addon" while lc let me d/l a trial version i suppose to be full functional... where i'm wrong?
honestly, i have to try lc coding AND ios deployment AND app running on my iphone before give runrev my money buying something i still don't know how and if works...

thanks to all from a multiple black sheep: an italian with a mac and who loves hypercard ;-)

Hi,

I understand that your problem is that you can't buy standalones for iOS with LiveCode. Have you read the documentation? Do you have XCode installed?

Best,

Mark

yes, i've read the documentation, i've just rebooted the mac and now, with all started over, lc sees the sdk and the "test" button works
it starts the sdk emulator, now the problem is that i've no provisioning profile and so i can only test via the iphone emulator
anyway for now it works, i was asking if the problem was from the sdk or the trial lc without the addon, now i know :-)
btw, i think that the link between the provisional profile and the standalone build maker is wrong, at least for me
sorry for so many typo in the first post, i was so tired :-)
thanks!
