I thought I would start a thread here to see I've I'm the only one with the feeling I have or if this is a more common thing.
My problem is Rev 4.5 and the marketing mail flood I'm basically receiving cause I didn't extend my update contract. That I receive the mails is fine otherwise I would have unsubscribed, but where I have a problem is that it attempts to market 4.5 as a great new step forward yet one of its 3 points mentioned is 150 bugfixes and a finally working rev browser plugin and thats out of my view really basically all it is. Stuff I expected to get with my 4.0 update subscription.
I've to say that I'm more than just unsatisfied with what is going to come in with 4.5n, that unimportant stuff is pushed in and that "standard support work" is promoted like a major thing while major basic application functionality are still sold through premium 3rd party plugins (acceptable, feature complete / present list and tablev support, ...) which cost more than a fresh unreduced Studio license.
To me, if they intend to ever sell me a license to revolution in the future, I just expect that they do their homework and finally get revolution up and capable of basic application development in its fullest, not in parts to not cut some 3rd party plugin from existance which never should have existed in first place if customers and reputation were taken serious enough to understand that offering basic functionality as $100 addon isn't going to work out if it results in standard functionality being omited for the sake of them!
