Custom install bugs

Post by xfrios » Thu May 26, 2011 12:13 am

Hi RunRev, I am evaluating the LiveCode 4.6.1 trial and found some problems with the custom path specification of the custom install.

My development tools directory is located at "k:\program files\development\" and I intended to install to this directory.

When I navigate to this location using the custom installer and then choose 'continue', the path displayed for installation is: "k:\Program Files\Development\Development\LiveCode 4.6.1".

The same occurs if I paste the desired location to the navigation dialog.

The operating system is Windows Vista x86 Service Pack 2 with all updates.

Happy to test an update or use an updated installer if you have one available.

Thanks!

PS. Tried to use the quality control center to report this but looks like I do not have a login for that, just a runrev trial login.

There's no officials on the forum. I suggest mailing support at runrev dot com with your bug.
Various teststacks and stuff:

RunRev support advise this problem will be fixed next release.

Also, I had a similar problem when setting the andriod sdk location.
