Photoshop replacement for Mac?

Hi all!
Is there a good app, not as expensive as Adobe Photoshop to edit graphics?
Im using a Mac, any ideas?

Pixelmator is very reasonable & has just come out with a new version. The style and workflow is very similar to Photoshop but very Mac like too - unlike GIMP.
