Pasting code on a Mac

Post by jawall » Thu Nov 14, 2013 7:31 am

Good morning,

whenever I copy and paste some text from the internet into livecode - e.g. a text field, or code into the script editor - line breaks are represented by the question mark symbol ("?").

I find it hard to find a working script for reformatting, since the "?" is of course also used in plain language and thus can't do a simple replace routine.

Do you have the same issue, do you know a solution?

Thank you
Jürgen

Hi Jürgen,

I don't have this problem, especially not on a Mac. Which version of LiveCode do you use? Could you post a sample of text that causes such problems?

Kind regards,

Mark
