I guess I just want to make sure it is ok if I go and ask a bunch of easy questions.
Can I ask questions galore?

Can I ask questions galore?
Hi I am brand new to live code (1at day
) and I am really looking forward to spending a lot of time learning it. I have found the easiest way for me to learn anything is by asking questions and getting an answer. So I was wondering if it is ok if I make use of this forum and just ask questions often. They will probably sometimes be simple questions that everyone knows in the beginning but they may get more complex as I learn more.
I guess I just want to make sure it is ok if I go and ask a bunch of easy questions.

Re: Can I ask questions galore?
You can ask questions galore as long as you expect answers galore
Some may be more sensible answers than others
sensible bit: as long as you don't ask questions that imply "do it for me" you'll find nobody is stingy with information or code around here. That being said, you can't just ask and get an answer to every step of every script journey you take, it won't help you learn. You will also need to read around the basics and begin to get the first inkling of how a script comes together in a control on a card in a stack. There are a number of links for the best places to start, some of the best material to begin getting this grounding is the now dated, but still very valid scripting conferences, they don't seem to be on the runrev website any more, but are continuing to be hosted kindly by jacque here: http://www.hyperactivesw.com/revscriptc ... ences.html.
