I love LiveCode and look forward to what this year brings. I'm still learning, but getting a little better all the time. Just wish I had more time to devote to learning LC.
But my question is: has anyone used Lianja? Opinions ? I did download a demo, but it locked up on my Mac w/ Mavericks within 2 minutes and had to force quit.
Has anyone here used Lianja ?

Hi,
There are other environments that let you program in PHP, Python and JavaScript for free. Their getting-started website doesn't say anything about compiling an app into a standalone version. It seems to me that tot use your PHP app, you still need a server. $1200 seems a bit much for an IDE.
You could have spent your time reading a chapter of my book instead. I'm sure it'll help you to learn LiveCode more quickly
Kind regards,
Mark

I was just curious regarding the other title. Yeah, it's pricey and locked up on my Mac. lol. No intentions on switching from LC. I'm here to stay.
I do have your book, but I also work 90-100 hours a week so learning LC is slower than I'd like.
