Hello all,
I'm making the move from windows to ubuntu 14.04, so far so good. A quick search of the software center for LiveCode showed no results. When I search for programming, Xojo is among the software available. Basically I was wondering what it would take to get livecode listed in the Ubuntu Software Center. I had no trouble installing LiveCode, with a couple hiccups installing the android SDK/AVD, but I think it would be great if we could get livecode (community) into the official software center. Just a thought.

Re: Ubuntu Software Center
Congratulations for your Windows to Linux move.
It will take a bit of getting used to, but in the end I am sure you will be better off.
If you want any help you can find my e-mail over on the Use-List and contact me privately.

Re: Ubuntu Software Center
Thanks Richmond!
I appreciate the offer, if my google-fu ever fails me, it's nice to know there's someone there to help
I think I will be sticking with Linux for the most part from here on out.
