Put iOS8 dictation to work, and it is Speech Recognition..
Messing about with liveCode 7, iOS 8 and dictation, I soon got more than a little bored of just dictating words and watching them appear within the stack... there had to be more !...
Why not let liveCode and dictation do a search for you ?.. So, I set up a map in iOS and instead of typing the name of the place I wanted to be taken to (as it were)... I spoke it..smile emoticon To make things just a little more interesting with this experiment I then got the script to go and get the latitude/longitude and drop a pin on the map..

It handles a full address the majority of the time... postcodes though are a little hard as it does not seem to handle individual letters very well.. but I laugh... that might just be down to my Yorkshire accent... When speaking an address you don't have to bother with using commas... for example an address that we might write as '7 Spencer Road, Shepton Mallet' can be said without having to say 'comma'...
