Apple IAP across multiple apps?

Is it possible to setup an in-app purchase through Apple which could affect multiple apps?

In particular I'm setting up a sync service that would apply to more than one of my apps and would be subscription based. I'd prefer to set it up so that the user could subscribe once through any app, and be able to use the sync service in all of them without having to pay separately.

has anyone tried something like this?
