There is something very strange happening with some stacks which I've been using since revolution version studio 1.0
I just got version 3.0 Studio and when I open the stack and then open the application browser, there is nothing
showing, as if the stack is none existing.. and I cannot edit the stack at all. The same stack in studio version 2.8
is showing in the application browser and can be edited with the application browser. I don't understand what is happenning.

Yes the stack's name does start with rev. If I understand correctly.. this is not ok for a stack's name to start with rev in version 3.0 (cause before version 3.0 it was working very fine).. Thank you for the information. Greatly appreciated.

Hi,
it is (sort of) ok to have a stacks name start with rev, however, this is to be considdered as a reserved "namespace". ll IDE stacks start with rev. To filter those out from things like the application browser and thus not cluttering the whole environment. It was this way since version 1.
However, you have the option to show stacks starting with rev by selecting
view->Revolution UI Elements in List
These settings might be different for your 2.8 and your 3.0 install. So you might want to check that option to have your stack reappear in the app browser /besides all rev stacks showing up there now too)
Hope that sorts it,
Malte

I've just notice that if I open the application browser first and then open my stack... the stack is showing in the application browser even without the Revolution UI Elements in List checked.
I do still appreciate your clarification! thanks! Makes more sense to me now.
I tend to forget "reserved stuffs".
