What I like about Livecode

Well; many, many things indeed.

But here's an illustration of one of the things I really like:
FnRcompare.png
Having to use the Find & Replace stack for extensive recoding of my Devawriter Pro
application I found the original field for text to be searched for was far too small for
my requirements, so I extended the field and enlarged the textSize to what I required.

With a little bit of effort one can "hack" everything in the Livecode IDE to what suits one's individual requirements.

This is very much in the spirit of the Open Source movement rather than the "one size fits all" mentality of Apple
and Microsoft.

It is, also, a thing I believe the Livecode people should make more of in their documentation and advertisement.
