No SSL Certificate Traffic

Hi Guys found a video on youtube that kind of led me to this forum. It was in reference to cryptography. Namely it was this crypt this code game that looked pretty interesting and informative. The person who posted the video gave all the credit to Live Code. I have yet to find this game on the site and would like help looking for it so i can download it and play it.
BUT as a side note. I did find it pretty hilarious that a site that talks about cryptography doesn't encrypt their site. whats up with the lack of an SSL certificate. It could even be self generated. or you could go spend 10 dollars to get a rapid SSL certificate? Geotrust, and comodo have some pretty cheap ssl certificates.
