So, here I am with a large number of extremely old PCs doing sterling service running Xubuntu.

HOWEVER, their hard drives are chock full of lots of versions of LiveCode . . .

As far as I am concerned I should like to keep LC 8.1.9 (LC 8.1.10 seems to "go funny" from time to time on Linux) and LC 9.0.x, and REMOVE the rest.

HOWEVER, I really don't know how to remove everything from all the other versions . . .

i.e. not just the bits in the basic install location, but all the "twiddly bits" in other locations.

Were they installed for one user or all?

Not really sure what you mean by the twiddly bits, however the surest way I know of to remove an Lc version is to locate and click on this file ~ It will be located in the same folder as the version of Lc you installed, and will remove everything related to that installation as far as I could tell.

1. Dutch is probably a far better bet than "Double Dutch".
