LC 9.6.2 is crashing left, right and centre.

I'm running the public beta of Monterey and LC has some major appearance and usability issues:
All items on the pull down menus have check marks in front of them
When in edit mode, the Object and Text pull down menus are completely disabled, so you can't edit the card script, use Inspectors etc.
The Windows menu claims "No Windows Open" even though the stack window is clearly visible with active buttons that respond to mouse clicks.
In short - not usable!
But no crashes so far... knock on wood.

This is a bit of a pox, but the crashes did generate reports which were sent automagically to Apple,
so one hopes . . .
In the light of what you wrote re the MacOS 12 beta, I think I will upgrade to that as, at least, the IDE won't crash every 30 seconds or so.
so you can't edit the card script, use Inspectors etc.

So . . . Now running MacOS 12 beta 1 and happy to report that LiveCode seems to work "as it should", and the diamondy things
that were mentioned seem neither here nor there:
