Hello,

I am using Rev Studio 4.0 dp4. Windows Vista. When I try to update Rev I keep getting "There was an error checking for updates"

On my XP Machine the updater works but I get a file not found error when trying to download 4.0 dp6

On vista I tried removing Rev, cleaning all registry entries and reinstalling but the problem persist, the updater on my vista machine throws an error.

Anyone experiencing the same problem or knows of a solution?

One more thing, Rev's built in uninstaller does not work.

Hi Tony,

I think that you need to download a full installer, just once. You'll need your license key after installation.

Currently, this issue is reported more frequently.

I had a similar issue on W7, phoned support and they advised running as Admin - then worked a treat.
