apps in unicode name

Hi

In IOS there is a display name field, which I can put unicode name or chinese name in it. Then my apps can display chinese name in the device. In android apps, how can I make my apps to display chinaese name in the android device. I try to put chinaese name in the Android -> Basic setting -> label field, but it will have compile error, and the label field chinese will be change to unknow character.
