Interesting article from the BBC.
'Samsung has unveiled a raft of new software tools to help developers create apps specifically designed for its devices.
The South Korean firm is releasing five new software development kits (SDKs).'
'The electronics giant is also working with chip maker Intel to develop a new open source operating system called Tizen'
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-24724581
Does this mean that RunRev would have to incorporate not ony the Android SDKs for most ranges and then Samsung's IDEs for Samsung's devices' proprietary features?

Re: Samsung's new SDKs
Hi,
Yep, if Tizen is somewhat like Android or XCode, LiveCode will have to interact with the Tizen SDK to compile standalones. Then again, Tizen aims at HTML5 apps, which LiveCode is not. I wonder if it would make sense to try to create a Tizen compatible version of LiveCode and I'm a bit sceptical towards Tizen in general. I'd rather wish to see a flexible OS that allows for apps created with Java, Objective-C, HTML5.
Kind regards,
Mark
