Dear GPJMA,

You will be able to find out more information on LiveCode 6 commercial at the following link -

http://livecode.com/store/livecode/livecode-commercial/

There is no requirement for the Android SDK to be installed first. I was just showing the process I use to set up Android support from installation to deployment.

The youtube video is encoded at 1080P but youtube will only display it at 480p unless otherwise stated. This should explain why the text is unreadable at points.

The following link should force a 720p quality version of the video, which should make the text easier to read-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWQ15sJK8sY&hd=1

The lesson here http://lessons.runrev.com/s/lessons/m/2 ... er-on-a-pc should explain step by step how to set up LiveCode for Android deployment. I believe that once we ascertain why the directory is hidden for you when setting the Android SDK location, you will be able to deploy to Android without any issues.

What directory have you installed the Android SDK too and do you have the Folder OPtion" enabled to show hidden files, folders and drives?

Kind Regards,

Neil Roger
