What do you mean blocked? Black screen? Errors? (if errors what are they) Just really slow?

What version are you building for? 2.2, 2.3......?

Hi, thank you for your reply,

i have tried all android version emulator, from 2.2 to 4.1, but the 4.1 can't startup my app...and the emulator isn't bloked but seem it.....the emulator to start it take 5 minute, but when i try to play my app spaceinvaderclone game...it seem like frozen..i have used animation engine 5.0 ....but is the same when i start another app or sometime don't take commands right....

Does exist a better android emulator?

i have seen some trick in internet like some android image disk to put on linux..but it's too complicated...

best regards.....lestroso

I have the same problem with Android 4 emulator images. They are too slow to use. There are no other emulators, so I test on lower OS versions and just assume my app will work on 4. That's the best I can do for now.

Make sure you have selected the snapshot option in the emulator settings. That will make the startup faster. The OS is still too slow to use, but it helps with other AVDs.
