I have just completed the desktop version of my application and want to create a standalone for Android tablets. I have spent the majority of this day searching how to get this done. I have downloaded JDK 7, Android SDK, and Android 2.2 API 8.
In the Livecode IDE, I have pointed to the location of the Android Development SDK Root and it has given me the JDK Path once I completed this step. At this point, I have restarted the Livecode IDE. I have loaded up my stack and when I get into the Standalone Application Settings the Android Icon is not clickable. I have created an AVD for a tablet and upon starting this AVD I can see the name of the AVD under Development -> Test Target but I am unable to click on the target.
I have also spent the last few hours searching the forums for guidance without any luck. I think a few steps were left out on the resource listed at http://livecode.com/developers/guides/mobile/android/
I have also create a brand new stack with a single button trying to get the Android Icon to show up in Standalone Settings or to be able to test to my AVD Target and neither is working with this new stack and a single button.
Anyone have suggestions

Re: LC 6.1.1 + Android
Ok I've been able to duplicate seeing the test target with Android emulator grayed out.
The only thing I had to do was set the standalone application settings to Android (you have to save the stack before you can set the standalone) and the test target is ready.

Re: LC 6.1.1 + Android
In the Commercial 6.0.1 to 6.1.1-rc1 I have not been able to click on the Android Icon to set the Build for Android checkbox. I just created a new AVD of 2.3.3 and have it running on the machine. I have restarted the computer, and now I am trying the Community Version of Livecode 6.1 to see if it has something to do with the Commercial Version.

Re: LC 6.1.1 + Android
It has to do something with the Commercial Version as the Community Version I am able to click on the Android Icon and Build the sample stack with a single button for Android. Now to figure out why the Commercial Version 6.x does not allow me these options.

Re: LC 6.1.1 + Android
I believe you, I do not know what is going on. I do not know if my version does not have the Mobile Part cause at one time I throught this was a AddOn that needed to be purchased separate. But I am not sure. I can not find anything on either runrev.com or livecode.com in reference to this.
