Signing apk fixed in 6.6.2 ?

I can now upload a signed .apk file to google play using the standalone options in LC6.6.2 community. The last time I checked, this didn't work ( I got an error message about the file not being correctly signed ) - can anyone confirm that it's definitely fixed - or did I just get lucky? I don't remember seeing any notes about it being fixed....
