Hello,

I am stuck adding android sdk on livecode 6.6.2. I always got error below.

I also installed android 2.2

This is related to this thread :

Code: Select all

http://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=15215
I just created a new thread for Livecode 6.6.2 specific.

Two scenarios I did:

Download the latest ADT bundle and installed android 2.2 - not working
Download an old SDK (from the thread - can't post link) as suggested on the thread above and installed android 2.2 - not working

I don't know what I am missing.

Thanks.

Hi,

Maybe you could check something for me ? Do you have a file called "ZipAlign.exe" in the 'Tools' folder of the Android SDK folder ?

If you do, then I need to re-think.
If you do not then you need to download it and paste it in - to the 'Tools' folder.

That might help ! I hope so.
This has been covered on the forum - search for ZipAlign - both Mac / Win files are there (courtesy of RunRevNeil, I think).

I struggled with this for quite a while and the Android SDK R23 has moved / omitted this particular file - LC refuses point blank to play unless this file is there ! I believe this issue will be fixed in an up coming release - not that it helps right now ;-)

HTH.
