Hello LiveCoders!
I am new to LiveCode. I have little experience with troubleshooting deployment issues.
I have created a barebones "Hello World!" stack in LiveCode 6.6.4. I can test it successfully on an Android 2.2 device, using LiveCode 6.6.4.
When I open the same stack in LiveCode 7.0 (rc 2 or rc3) and test it on the same device from the same Mac 10.8.5 computer, all I see on the device is that the screen goes black for a few seconds, and then the wallpaper is shown again.
When I create an new stack in LiveCode 7.0, exactly the same thing occurs.
I see no bug report about this, at quality (dot) runrev (dot) com, so I am guessing that others have been able to deploy 7.0 stacks to Android. If so, it would be good to have some pointers as to what positive steps I should take to get my barebones stack to launch successfully.
Thanks in advance,
James

You may have to wait for the next 7.0 release. Try it in 6.6.5, released today. They've fixed a few bugs, and you aren't the first one to see the black screen.
