Android SDK problems

Hi all,
This is a topic that the forum is full but, after many days, I haven't found a solution.

on my pc have Win 7 64bit and L.C. 6.6.2.
I followed this lesson: http://lessons.runrev.com/m/2571/l/2738 ... er-on-a-pc (How do I Become an Android Developer on a PC?)
when I try to set the location of SDK root from edit > preference I got this error:
err.jpg
at the beginning of the installation appeared this window:
Java percorso.jpg
saying that Java JDK version 1.8 has been found, the path is C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath\java.exe.
but in the LC preference pane, under Mobile support I read JDK Path: (none)
Prefer.jpg
I have tried to reinstall all; JDK, SDK several times but nothing has changed. read a lot of topics here, in the forum, without solving.

thanks for help, ciao
franco

Hi Franco,

LiveCode 6.6.2 is not compatible with the latest Android SDKs. Please download the latest versions of LiveCode as these have support (e.g. 6.7 and 7.0). These can be acquired from our main downloads repository here-

http://downloads.livecode.com/downloads

A few other issues have snuck up on us in regards to the Android SDK and LiveCode and our dev guys are hard at work implementing a fix. These issue along with a suggested workaround can be found in the following forum post-

Kind Regards,

Neil Roger

Hi Neil,
thanks for your suggestions.

I have downloaded LC v. 6.7 and, at least, I have could get over the "not valid android folder" error. :)
now I will try to solve this error:
" There was an error while saveig the standalone application could not compile application class "

best regards
