Sluggish with higher systempixelscale

Post by Jellobus » Fri Sep 02, 2016 2:42 pm

Hi All,

I'm testing a standalone with devices having higher systempixelscale. Most of latest android devices having high systempixelscale, so I take it very seriously..
Devices with equal or less than 2 systempixelscale performs as it was expected but devices with 4 systempixelscale shows very obvious performance slowness.

The issues I found are,

1. sluggish native scrolls
2. slow image show/hide
3. sluggish image moving

Is there any walk around to solve this issues? I believe that most of livecoders experiencing this issues..Please share if anyone knows solution.

Thanks for your time!

Louis

Are you using acceleratedRendering and setting the layermode for controls?

Hi Jacque,

Yes, I am using acceleratedRendering and appropriate layermode for controls.(dynamic, scroller).

I'm out of ideas then. The team is always looking for ways to speed up things that have slowed down in LC 7 and 8, so you might want to report the problem and send an example stack.
