There are some great Director xtras that don't work directly on internal media that would add some great extensions to RunRev. If some smart person could make an extension wrapper that would allow the invokation of Director xtras, I bet it would make a lot of those developers happy (since Director gets no support from Adobe).

One that is really cool is called Fluidxtra, which is free and cross-platform. It is a soft synthesizer that allows you to load GM sound banks and trigger notes, and with a bit of fancy scripting, play MIDI files.
