Disable always-on-top palettes

I almost never want these to remain on top. I can imagine occasionally wanting something to stay on top, but it would be better if palettes had something in their settings menu for that, or perhaps a little pin icon that does that. I'm constantly pushing palettes out of the way to see what I really want to see.

If they're hidden behind something, palettes would be easier to get back to with Alt+Tab if the icons for each kind of palette were a different color, instead of all white letters on green background.

I agree. I'm not sure why they changed this behavior, pre-8.xx they seemed to work how I would expect them too.
