Font Sizes in Script Editor under Windows

Post by bjb007 » Fri Jan 11, 2008 12:50 am

The size choices are limited and don't display in the same size as all other Win apps. e.g. 10pt is more like 8 and the next choice (14) seems much bigger than Win 14pt. More choices please and standard display of selectred font size.

Hi,

you know that you can set (default) font and size for the script editor in the preferences?

Trouble is that the choice is between 10 pt and 14 pt for some reason. One too small, the other too large.

Just don't use the arrows, but enter something into the field. You can enter any number between 4 and 144 there.

Maybe other font sizes can be entered on your system but certainly not on my Win system.

"Default" is same size as 12pt - too small
14pt appears same size as 12pt.
Next up is 18pt which is too large.

There's nothing between and no other numbers can be entered.

As I said, do not use the arrows, instead type directly into the field next to them. Works perfectly fine on my windows with every number between 4 and 144.

I only use Windows XP and Vista computers and Rev Studio 2.8.1.
All of my fonts change in 1 point intervals.
I seem to remember something similar using an earlier version of Rev; What version of Rev are you using?
Do you get the same issue with different fonts?

I have Studio V2.8.1 but seems there are some features not working due to having had the trial version installed.

Have asked Support for help but the chances of getting any seems unlikely going by previous experience.
