Can't run LiveCode anymore [SOLVED]

Can't run LiveCode anymore [SOLVED]
Hi to all,
I'm under Win7 64Bits.
Now, when I want to start the program "LiveCode Community 6.5.2.exe" it starts until it is at the process "Loading QuickTime".
Then I get an error message like "A problem occured and the program doesn't run correctly. Windows will search for a solution" (something like that, sorry for my english!).
Any idea where it could come from ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Can't run LiveCode anymore
I don't have any idea; but I do have an idea about how to get Livecode 6.5.2 working.
If you don't have an earlier version of Livecode that works:
Go here: http://downloads.livecode.com/livecode/
and download Livecode 6.1.0
install it
-------------------
Start up a version of Livecode earlier than 6.5.2 that works
then open Preferences: Menu/Edit/Preferences
make sure "load Quicktime at Startup" is deselected.
Exit Livecode
-----------------
Those Preferences should stay for 6.5.2, which should now start properly.

Re: Can't run LiveCode anymore
Do you have QuickTime installed? If so, what version?

Re: Can't run LiveCode anymore
Thanks to both of you.
Yes, QuickTime is installed on my system, Win7, 64Bits.
I installed Livecode 6.1.0
But, again, it's loading QuickTime and crash !
I'm in a kind of loop I don't see any way to get out of it.
BTW, isn't it a ini file of LiveCode I could edit in which I would set a kind of <LoadQuickTimeAtStartUp> function to <FALSE> or <0> ?

Few minutes later...
I installed LiveCode 6.6 just now.
Trying to load it, again, the QuickTime process crash LiveCode.
Really frustating

Re: Can't run LiveCode anymore
There's a chance something is wrong with the QT installation. Can you try uninstalling QT to see if it allows LC to run? If it does, then re-install QT to see if the problem shows itself again.

Re: Can't run LiveCode anymore
Thanks to all for your help.
The problem is solved. Here is what I did.
Following the idea of richmond62, I went to the LiveCode 4.5.0 install page.
I installed LiveCode 4.5.0
Shut down the computer (no reset).
Started the computer again after one minute of pause.
Ran LiveCode 4.5.0 with success !!!
Made a simple project.
Saved it.
Set the preferences that QuickTime doesn't load at startup like said before by richmond62.
Saved and quit LiveCode.
Then I ran LiveCode 6.6.0 without problem
QuickTime doesn't load.
As a feature request, I would suggess that, when the operating system is Win7, 64Bits, the <runQuickTimeAtStartup> process is disabled by default, if it's possible.
Because it's not possible to run QuickTime under that operating system (error46, always)...

If anyone has time to confirm this recipe it may be helpful to file a bug report against it.
