> the ide it's not bugs free
I've worked with THINK C, CodeWarrior, XCode, SuperCard, RealBASIC, TookBook, OMO, and a few others, and have yet to find an IDE - or any software product - that's bug-free. The OS I'm writing this on ships with more than 10,000 known bugs.
As with other software, license and renewal fees help the vendor keep engineers working on it every day. Many releases are free updates, and the next one, v2.9, will also be a free upgrade and has a long list of closed bug reports behind it.
> and don't compile now for all platform that the slogan says
Studio does indeed let you deploy to all supported platforms. The only difference between Studio and Enterprise (aside from some DB connections and a few other minor things) is that with Studio you can *develop* (edit scripts) on only one platform. But you can certainly build standalones for any of them using Studio.
> ......so think different... please reduce price
If it were up to me I'd think REALLY different any raise the price. Under its former owner the license sold for $995 a seat, with annual renewals of $300 without support or $500 with. For the unusually high ROI we've had here I didn't mind the price, and it helped create a high ROI for the vendor as a sort of "seriousness filter", reducing support costs by catering mostly to professional developers.
But I recognize that RunRev is aiming to reach a broader market, and I believe there's room for refinement of the pricing structure.
Fortuntely for most Rev fans I don't own RunRev, but you can write to the owners with your suggestion at (corrected address)
