I´ve tried to find any documentation of how to link a custom scrollbar to a field or a group without any luck. The user guide says nothing about it.
I know fields and groups can have built-in scrollbars but you cannot change the look of these, so to customize the look of your app (or at least change the colors of the scrollbar) you have to build a scrollbar from the ground up. Why is there so little help on how to use the custom scrollbar in the Tools palette? Why does it even exist? Is there any other use for a custom scrollbar other than in a field or a group?

Number picker
Graphic manipulator
All sorts of uses when you want numbers but not a 10 key or other.

I understand. The slider are limited to whole numbers.....
But I just discovered that changing the color values of a scrollbar, slider or progress bar does not work...
So my reason for using any of these are obsolete now. The built in controls are really limited when it comes to designing their looks...
back to the drawing board again...

Again Livecode lures me in with it´s teasing drag´n´drop only to reveal itself to be just as time consuming as any other language.
It should come with a warning: The ease of use is only for prototyping.
