Considering that there are already exceptions for RevBrowser and OpenSSL in the LiveCode Community License, I was curious if such an additional permission could be added. It seems like it could be a good way to grow the community with new developers, who then become potential indy/business customers after becoming familiar LiveCode. I am definitely not an expert on software licensing, so I could be missing something, but I thought it was interesting enough to put the suggestion out there.Copyright 2015-2016 Open Whisper Systems

Potential Community License Addition?
To my knowledge, users of the community edition of LiveCode are unable to produce iOS apps due to incompatibility with the GPL license. I recently have been checking out the 'signal' project, which is also is licensed under the GPL, but has this added permission :
