Please can you change the icon to a less "icky" green.

Re: Change the LiveCode Community Icon
I have a feeling that the 1960s and 70s were the times for Psychedelia.

Well, I'm not so sure about that, but I *can* tell the difference between an edited and unedited post
Next time, I'm taking a screen shot <ksnip ksnip>

the dark green icon that was initially there was my suggested new one.

Re: Change the LiveCode Community Icon
Oh? I just figured that was the new icon hahaha. You know how little time I spend in any version of Lc past 6.x :p
I should also point out that in 'nix, the icon is rarely associated automatically, and in those few instances where it *was* actually associated, I changed it immediately

Re: Change the LiveCode Community Icon
So, indeed, do I on any Linux system with XFCE; all a bit more difficult with KDE Plasma.I changed it immediately
On Macintosh it is. frankly, more trouble than it is worth.
I don't know how those things work on Windows.
Re: Change the LiveCode Community Icon
I don't see the difficulty on PLASMA, or really any nix, they are all pretty much going to run the same way.

Re: Change the LiveCode Community Icon
Mac, on the other hand, was as easy as I remember posting somewhere else (although I forgot where~!), simply copy a picture or icon or whatever, and paste it (or drag it) into the "get info" properties for an app or folder, such as they demonstrate on this page.

Re: Change the LiveCode Community Icon
I hadn't used Windows in any serious way in years, but changing the icons there doesn't seem particularly difficult either...

Re: Change the LiveCode Community Icon
I assume the "lc" in the icon is for "lower case"
