Stop Card Background Color From Affecting Objects

Hi! I made a stack with a number of scrollbars, scrolling fields, labels, etc. I created an opaque square to put behind them, so when I changed the background color of the card, they would still be visible. But when I change the card background color, the new color showed through on the scroll bar thumbs and arrows, the lower margin of fields, and the upper and left borders of buttons.

So my "feature request" - don't let the card color "leak through" parts of the object. There is no workaround that I could find, in that no settings in the scrolling field's Color & Pattern Properties window fixed the problem, although it should not require that kind of "repair" anyway.

See attached image for example.

Thanks.
BR, Walt

Hio Walt,

this is a feature actually!
Object INHERIT properties that have not been set explicitely for these objects from their "parent" objects!

Best

Klaus

P.S.
In case you didn't know:
This forum is only a place to discuss feature requests.
The Rev programmers do not read this forum on a regular base, so the "ifficial" place to make feature request is here:

OK, thanks Klaus. All inherit except pop up menus I guess. :-)
