Evening all!
I'm playing with various aspects of interfaces and I noticed that a pulldown menu is not behaving like I want. The pulldown is positioned in an area along the top of the card adjacent to a few buttons. No matter where I place the buttons, as soon as the pulldown is activated on Android, the "choices" take up the entire screen, rather than being nicely positioned below the pulldown itself. Needless to say the choices are actually quite short and font is small enough so there's no reason why the pulldown shouldn't be a bit more modest. I've tried playing with a number of Geometry settings but to no avail. Other than this annoying display thing, the choices work fine.
Anyone else seen this?

Re: Pulldown menu's choices take up all of the card
Yep, same on iOS!
Solution:
Do not use a PULLDOWN menu on mobile, use a nice and native "mobilepicklist" instead!

Re: Pulldown menu's choices take up all of the card
Menus are implemented internally as stacks, and on mobile only one stack can be open at a time, and a stack always is the same size as the screen. That's why Klaus' method is the answer.
