File Not A Stack

I updated to the latest version and when I tried to open my stack I got "File not a stack" on both the working file and my backup. How can I remedy this. Please

There was a file structure change from 6.x to 7.x. Perhaps this is a clue.

Does your stack still open in 6.x?

Thanks... I went back one version and it works. I didn't realize it was keeping the old versions on my computer. Thought they were just updating.
