Text in front Video

Is there any way that a text field to display in front of a video?
I guess I'm doing something wrong but I'm changing the layers of both controls (field and player) and I can not get it. The video (when running) always cover the text.

This won't work on mobile but you need to set the alwaysBuffer property of the player to true.

in the inspector for your video, check the "alwaysbuffer" property!
Then you can place objects in front of the video.
