Database Tutorial for Beginners

I am so grateful to all of you who post links. Sometimes, it takes hours to find this sort of information. Though I'm not yet ready for databases, I am bookmarking this thread for future reference. Note my positive attitude that I, too, will someday get to the point of understanding databases like SQL and SQLite. I've never been able to get my head wrapped around them.
