Print from mobile app? - Solved

Post by DR White » Wed Jul 03, 2024 11:25 am

Is it possible to use LC to print from mobile app to a wireless printer?

Is there an example somewhere?

Thanks,

David

With the help of Panos and many many hours of research and "trail and error" God blessed me with a stack that prints from iPhone to printer.

It is necessary that in the Application settings that you include the necessary "Inclusions".
I am using a Canon TR8600 printer (it has direct wireless connection feature).

God is real!

I attached the small LC stack for you to try.

David

PS

I uploaded a new file with the liveCode extension to make it easier to load into LC.

Sorry.

Still a more friendly file.

I don't understand it.

The LC stack is good and converts to a standalone fine, if you open LC first and then open the stack.

If I don't open LC first and just double click the file, when LC opens up, LC says it cannot open stack.

I think it might be that the "Inclusions" for the stack are not available until it is opened in the LC environment.
