Any complete tutorials?

Does anyone know where I can find any complete application tutorials like the Creating a Video Library Application lesson that
takes you from beginning to end creating an application. I am hoping to find ones that utilize database queries, and datagrids
performing selects, edits, inserts and deletes.

I think, if there were such a "complete" tutorial, then the software would have been made already and there wouldn't be a need to do the tutorial

The problem is that you always want to make something new and unique. Hence a tutorial may get you started but will never tell you from start to end how to make your application.

There are quite a few tutorials around, though.
