LiveCode Getting Started Course (new video course)

There have been two Summer Academy Sessions so far. Both were used as a preamble to this NEW set of work and videos lessons called the, LiveCode Getting Started Course. It's now a six video series, almost identical to the Summer Academy, but more polished. As usual, Elanor is a great teacher! ALL beginners, and anyone needing a refresher, should spend some time with these videos.

1- Once you get to the LiveCode Getting Started Course page, you can click on any of these lessons and they will run embedded in the same page. But they're way to small to follow. DO THIS. On each video, look for the YouTube icon in the lower right hand corner. Click on it, and you'll be able to watch the video directly on YouTube.

2- You'll then notice the coding examples are still blury. Now-- look in the lower right hand corner of the video-- this time for icon that says "360i". Click on that and up the resolution to "1080p". Also click once on the Expand icon directly to the right on the resolution icon.

3- Now notice how when Elanor is working in the IDE and writing code, ALL the activity is in the upper left hand corner of the screen. So-- use the Ctl+ key combination to zoom in, and make the video larger. (that's control with the plus key) Use the scroll bars to move only the upper left hand side of the video into view. At this point all the coding text becomes perfectly clear!

4- And lastly, if Elanor goes to a slide and you want to once again see the full screen, simply press the Ctl zero key combination, to reset the zoom. Or of course, you can step back with the control and minus key.
