Tutorial or lesson to set up the apple provisioning portal

Post by rleiman » Sat Dec 29, 2012 8:13 pm

Hi Everyone,

Is there a tutorial or lesson or anything detailing the needed steps on setting up the Apple provisioning portal so I can install my app on an iPad for testing.

I'm looking for something that is for complete beginners.

Thanks.

Hi rleiman,
The iOS Dev Center https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action has the best information.
I have to admit I didn't find it a straight forward process to build provisioning profiles but if I switched my brain off and just did EXACTLY what the instructions said it can be done.
I don't think the instructions are written poorly and I think it would have made more sense had I been a Mac developer but coming from Win the process was a complete mystery.

I used to be a newbie but then I learned how to spell teh correctly and now I'm a noob!

Don't feel bad Simon, it's a complete mystery to Mac developers too. :)
