Flowers losing the colors! (="."=)

Post by Mariasole » Tue Oct 01, 2013 6:21 pm

Ciao a tutti!
I am continuing to study LiveCode and, even though I made more complex things, I stopped on this simple experiment!
I ask you to help my gurus! :D
I have a list of red flowers, green flowers and blue flowers. I have a button that puts in list these flowers. The problem is that the lists, when "combined", they lose the colors!
How can I do? Sorry for the obvious ignorance!
Grazie a tutti!!!!!

Ciao MariaSole,

I'm not a guru but I believe I can help you.
You have to change the textcolor of the added lines

Something like that:

Code: Select all

put the textcolor of fld "fRed" into tCurColor
put the num of lines of field "fRed" into tNbS
put the num of lines of field "fColorList" into tNbD
put field "fRed" after field "fColorList"
set the textcolor of line (tNbD+1) to (tNbD+tNbS) of fld "fColorList" to tCurColor
Same for green and blue and you can use a loop

Cher Jean-Marc autre que guru! Vous êtes mon chevalier!
I understand the method, which is the most important thing.
You've clarified a dark side (for me) of LiveCode. Now is a colorful side! :P
Merci encore!

Sweet Lady,
I tried your code with a "do" command and that was very interesting.
The main room of the castle was perfect but why did you choose these green curtains ?

Sincerely your

P.S. I'm sorry to announce you i have eaten my horse
