Can't get Animation Engine started

Post by chris25 » Fri Nov 29, 2013 11:08 pm

Sorry that I am double posting but I am so tired of incompetent instructions I really am, (not referring to sparkout)

I have followed instructions in the pdf to the absolute letter about 6 times with slight variations just in case. i have done sparkouts instructions about 5 times now and again with slight variations in case I may have misunderstood him. The fact that I can not work this out is not a reflection of my stupidity. I really am getting so frustrated here. and would appreciate someones clear guidance, if you can forgive my bulldozing impatience.

This is just the end of my final attempt.

You need to make stack "animationEngine" a substack of YOUR stack,
just like SparkOut wrote in the other thread!
Not the other way round as you did. 8)

Frustrated or not, please no more double postings in the future, thanks!

Well that was bloody well straight forward and simple - bob's your uncle done so quickly I did not have time to blink my eyelids. Why the hell was that not simply put in the pdf - why the hell are sometimes the instructions for things wrapped up in cryptic garbled nonsense. Why simply say click me, and you are ready to go. Mad? I'm fuming out the nostrils... Klaus, a big thankyou. You know what we say in the technical author world don't you (technical writing that is for teaching textbooks) ? Never ask a doctor to write a medical textbook.
Klaus thanks.
kind regards

P.S. I'm not tired.
