Vector drawing tools bug and the runaway mouse cross hair

Livecode Community edition 6.5.2-rc-1 Build 3013
Select any one of the vector drawing tools off the Tools palette.
Mouse pointer changes to a cross hair.
The cross hair is enabled to draw the vector not only on the card but on any Livecode window that is currently open on the desktop. eg menu, property inspector.
Also, once you've drawn one vector of the type you've chosen ie rectangle, circle, line, polygon the mouse pointer doesn't return to an arrow but rather the cross hair remains enabled leaving you in an endless loop to keep drawing the vector you originally chose with no escape. I'm only new to livecode but this looks awfully like a bug. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Apparently this bug was introduced in 6.5.1 and the fix for v6.5.2 has been completed, to be made available shortly:
