Guglielmo,
My company, not me, has a standard iOS developers account. That's sufficient for my company and I don't need to enrol in the enterprise developers programme. Currently, my company doesn't need that. I think there are many, mostly small, companies which don't need that. Therefore, if you're considering to publish iOS apps as a company, do not assume that you need an enterprise account and do not assume that you need a DUNS number.
Kind regards,
Mark

Mark,
there are only two simple option ... and Apple well describes them :
"Companies and educational institutions must provide a D-U-N-S Number registered to their legal entity as part of the enrollment process for Apple Developer Programs. A D-U-N-S Number is optional for government organizations. Before enrolling, use the D-U-N-S Number look up tool to see if you already have one. If you are enrolling as an individual, you do not need a D-U-N-S Number."
... so, if you enroll as a company, you MUST have a DUNS number, otherwise you enroll as individual !
I enrolled my company, you, probably, have enrolled yourself
Please note that the "Enterprise developers program" (... which is a third option ... that cost 299 US$) is another thing : "... If you are a company/organization creating in-house applications for internal deployment, join the iOS Developer Enterprise Program."

Hi Guglielmo,
No, I enrolled as a company. I know this, because I have options that people who enrol as an individual don't have.
Kind regards,
Mark
