I have just downloaded LiveCode and my first thought was to watch the video tutorial. I checked out the website and all the videos I can find are about what you can do with LiveCode? I have got the PDF tutorial but got stuck with it? Have searched youtube but am getting loads of results that don't seem to be related to LiveCode. Is there really no video tutorial for LiveCode or am I just looking in the wrong places?

A few years ago, RunRev invested a lot of time in creating a huge series of video tutorials, which were all accessible from within Revolution, but apparently they threw it all into the bin.

There are several videos about different subjects available at http://livecode.tv/

links to a long list of task specific tutorials. The Lessons section has more material and some of the lessons link to video as well (see the Sheep Herder build video). If you work through all of those, you have a pretty good understanding of Livecode and where to get more help.

Some of the individual lessons have video attached, though not all. It still seems to be the place for a new comer to get a coherent series of lessons that will build their knowledge of what the tool can do and how to go about it.

Thanks for the help, have found some here, oh was going to post a link but I'm apparently not allowed to??? have watched the first 10 mins, seems ok so far but think I am going to need a training day. Will start a new thread for that though
