Is LiveCode well suited to making "math movies?"

Post by sol.ledermanGAc0f6 » Tue Mar 20, 2012 9:35 pm

Hi,

I want to make movies that teach mathematical concepts. So, I'd like to be able to do some simple animation. I've considered Flash (too much work), and PowerPoint (a possibility) but I'm curious if LiveCode is a better fit than PowerPoint. To produce my movies I would want to be able to make various slides and move between them with keyboard or mouse. I would produce a screencast with me speaking while I move through the slides. The final product would be a video for YouTube or other site.

Good idea? Bad idea? Are there any examples on the Web of math educational videos with simple animation?

Thanks.

Hi,

There is some stacks on revonline.
For example have a look at "Dynamic Process" in the simulation category

Best regards
