Test target in 5.5

Hi, I am having a bit of trouble getting LC 5.5 to recognize my device, I had it working (acer iconia a100) in the last version, updated and can't seem to get it to be a test target.
im actually experiencing this as well, i cant detect my pantech with android v 3.2
anyone has any idea how we can make this work?
does the license type have anything to do with the versions of android you can test your apps on?
